Toby Bushee
MVEF President
Toby Bushee serves as the President of the Moreno Valley Education Foundation, and as the Executive Director of Conference and Event Administration for Scripps College. The Moreno Valley Education Foundation is a non-profit founded to “intentionally enrich students’ lives” within Moreno Valley Unified School District. Toby and his wife Penny are lifelong Moreno Valley resident’s, and have 3 children; Shauna 19, Aaron 17(Valley View High) and Ester 12(Mountain View Middle).

Ema Batongmalaque
MVEF Board Secretary
An MVUSD alumni from elementary through high school, Ema now works for Riverside County and is passionate about enriching our students' lives through arts and culture. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from CSU Sacramento and an A.S. in Administration of Justice from Riverside Community College.

Renee Rojanaroj
MVUSD VAPA Coordinator
Renee joined Moreno Valley Education Foundation with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization, and focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.

Dayanara Hernandez
MVUSD STUDENT - Board Member
Dayanara is currently a junior at Valley View High School. In school, she is involved with the National Honors Society, Mock Trial, Interact, Link Crew, and more. Outside of school, she is part of the Fifth District Youth Advisory Council, Ontario Youth Court, and runs a youth organization that aims at supporting Latinos in her community. She is a certified youth juror and prosecution attorney in Mock Trial and has shadowed attorneys on multiple occasions. She has received state-wide recognition in competitions, has maintained a 4.7+ cumulative GPA, and received a distinctive “Community Leadership Award,” at a well-recognized conference, for her distinct dedication to her community. She aspires to make an impact on her community and assure a helping hand for every individual she encounters.

With us since our founding, Philip is one of our veteran team members. They bring their years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed.

Rebekah Campbell
Board Member - MVUSD Alumni
Rebekah joined the Moreno Valley Education Foundation as the Student Representative. She is now a 2021 Canyon Springs High School alumni and is currently a full-time student at California Baptist University.

Eduardo Corona
Board Member - MVUSD Student
Eduardo is currently a senior at Canyon Springs High School. At canyon he is involved in many programs such as NHS, Link Crew, Choir, and Theatre to name a few. Through his choir program he has had to opportunity to sing with multiple honor choirs across the country. Outside of school he serves his community in many forms. He sits on the Superintendents Youth Advisory Committee and serves on the CA State Superintendents Youth Advisory Council. His future goals are to return to Moreno Valley and give back to the community that helped shape him.

Joshua Combs
Board Member - MVUSD IT Analyst
Josh joined Moreno Valley Education Foundation with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization, and focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.

Dr. Martinrex Kedziora
At-Large Board Member - MVUSD Superintendent
During his 39-year career in education, Dr. Martinrex Kedziora has worked for a number of school districts in a variety of roles: He served as a teacher at both the elementary and secondary levels, vice principal, principal, special-education coordinator, director of professional development and middle-grades curriculum and instruction, Chief Academic Officer and now as the Superintendent of Schools of the Moreno Valley Unified School District.

Greg joined Moreno Valley Education Foundation with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization, and focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.

Brayton Williams
MVUSD - Purchasing Technician

Moreno Valley Sandals Church Youth Lead
Nick is the youth leader at Sandals Church Moreno Valley and joined MVEF because he believes in the next generation and wants to be a part of the solution to remove barriers from them reaching success.
